career perspectives

What career perspectives does the MBA in corporate management offer in the small and medium sized economy?

Small and medium sized companies form the backbone of the economy. About 90 percent of German companies, for example, are small and medium-sized companies. According to recent studies there are about 10,000 management jobs waiting to be filled in small and medium sized companies. This makes management of SMEs the most sought after career. Even now there is a shortage of more than 130,000 skilled professionals and managers in the small and medium sized sector.

In addition, there are a large number of succession problems to be solved in this sector. The shortage of qualified specialists and executives as well as corporate personnel is already highly visible and will only worsen further in the future. Our program is primarily aimed at candidates from abroad.

Against this background, the course of study is comprehensive and customized to meet international requirements. The objective of the program is to make the participants systematically, comprehensively and practically prepared to run a business at the highest level. This combination enables graduates to successfully lead a business at a corporate management level.
